Victor Vescovo on mapping the ocean

My main client is the Nippon Foundation - GEBCO Seabed 2030 project, which has the single (but difficult!) objective of completing the first map of the seabed of the global ocean. Since we started in 2017, 20% of the ocean floor has been added to the database - but that gives a total of just 26.1% mapped so far.

One of our earliest key supporters was Victor Vescovo, he has dived the deepest points of each of the ocean basins in a submersible, and in article published in The Times, sets out his course of action for future mapping using satellite derived bathymetry. Good to see Kyle from TCarta mentioned in there too..
